Relish.life is a weight loss service that cares more abouts
your mental wellness than about numbers on a scale.
We collaborated with Relish to create a website and monthly
subscription box that communicates this focus on
community, education, and positivity. The vibrant graphic design elements paired with positive, light-hearted copy across the website instill confidence and create a feeling of positivity for users about to embark on their health journey.

Relish’s approach to weight loss is rooted in a simple fact: mental health and physical health are inextricably linked. Our mission was to create a brand system spanning digital and physical touchpoints that nurtures and inspires personal growth.

We began by developing the brand’s visual and verbal identity in tandem, landing on a vibrant illustration style and light-hearted copy that instill a feeling a positivity and confidence. We then started applying it to the two most important touchpoints: the website and the packaging.

Our flexible content system allowed Relish’s experts to educate and advise users about the root causes of behaviors surrounding food, never compromising substance with usability.

Rather than grounding the brand in lifestyle imagery that can often feel reductive and limiting, we instead chose lush illustrations that energize and uplift all users.

We extended Relish’s commitment to health and well being through a package design that minimizes the environmental footprint of their monthly product shipments.

Paired with the optimism that the brand embodied, we were also strongly aligned with the team at Relish around the importance of reducing the amount of materials consumed in the production of the monthly packages. That’s why the package was designed to do double duty as shipping packaging as well.

The visual and verbal identity we developed for the brand became the cornerstone of the brand moving forward. The packaging system that extended the brand was successfully integrated into the workflow of the pharmacy responsible for distributing the Relish medication who had previously not handled any bespoke drug packaging solutions.
